How to Center Taskbar Icons
Hello, I’m Tracy from Valadilene.org. In this article, I will guide you on how to center your taskbar icons. This can help simplify your taskbar and give your desktop a cleaner look.
Centering Taskbar Icons on Windows 10
Windows 10 doesn’t come with an in-built option for centering taskbar icons. However, there are ways to work around this issue without resorting to third-party software. Let’s dive in:
1. Create a New Toolbar
Right-click on the taskbar. Hover over Toolbars and select New toolbar…. Choose any empty folder from your PC. This will add a new toolbar to your taskbar.
2. Unpin Existing Icons
Right-click on all the pinned taskbar icons and select Unpin from taskbar.
3. Center the New Toolbar
Drag the new toolbar you’ve created, past your existing toolbar icons. Then, right-click on the taskbar and uncheck Lock the taskbar. Now, you can drag the dotted line next to the new toolbar to resize it until your icons are centered.
4. Lock the Taskbar
Finally, right-click on your taskbar and select Lock the taskbar. Your taskbar icons should now be centered.
Conclusion
As you can see, centering taskbar icons require a bit of tweaking. With these easy steps, you can give your desktop a clean and minimalist look. If you have any further questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Happy computing!

Note: While this method works, it does not guarantee to keep your taskbar icons centered at all times, especially if you add or remove taskbar icons. I’ll keep updating this guide as and when a better solution becomes widely available.
