How to Change Safari Background
Hi there, Tracy here! Looking for a refreshing change in your Safari browser? You can personalize your browsing experience by changing the Safari background in just a few steps. This is an easy and quick guide to help you through the process.
Steps to Change Safari Background
Please note that Safari doesn’t provide an in-built option for changing the background. We will use a Safari extension called Dark Reader. Dark Reader allows you to customize website displays, from light or dark themes to custom CSS. Follow these instructions to finalize the change:
Step 1: Download and Install Dark Reader
- Open Safari.
- Go to the Safari Extensions page.
- Find Dark Reader, download, and install it.
Step 2: Change Settings
- Once installed, click the Dark Reader icon on your Safari toolbar.
- Click the ‘Settings’ button.
- Scroll down to the ‘CSS’ section.
- In the ‘CSS’, enter the URL of the image you want to use as a background.
And there you have it! These steps will change your Safari background and give a fresh, customized look to your browsing experience.
Remember, the CSS part might require a little bit of coding experience. However, don’t be discouraged! With trial and error, you’ll grow comfortable with it.
