Master Your iPhone’s Reading List
Hi there, I am Tracy. If you are just as intrigued as I am with the hidden gems of iPhone features, then you will appreciate the Reading List function. This nifty feature helps you save online articles and webpages directly in your Safari browser for later reading—offline or online. Here’s a quick guide on how to effectively use it.
Adding an Article to Your Reading List
To save an article to your Reading List, open Safari and navigate to the page you want to save. Tap the Action button (the box with the arrow pointing up), then tap ‘Add to Reading List’. Voila! The page is saved automatically for your later perusal.
Accessing Your Reading List
You can access your Reading List by tapping the Bookmarks icon (the open book) in Safari’s toolbar, then tapping the glasses icon. Your saved articles will be listed here. Just tap any listing to open the saved webpage.
Reading Offline
One remarkable advantage of the Reading List is its offline access feature. All articles added to your Reading List are also saved in your iCloud, allowing you to access them even when you’re not connected to the internet. Just make sure iCloud is activated in your settings!
Maintaining Your Reading List
Once you have finished reading an article from your list, you can either leave it as is, or delete it. To delete, simply swipe left on the article and tap Delete.
So, there you have it. Your personal reading library right in your iPhone. As technology continues to innovate, wouldn’t it be nice to discover more of these life-changing hidden features? If you want to share your thoughts, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at tracy@valadilene.org
