Custom Mod and Plugin Development

I have five years of experience with PHP, MySQL, (X)HTML/CSS and JavaScript. During these years I worked on various personal projects, such as WordPress and MyBB based communities and several other blogs/websites. Some of them are things of the past, and are no longer online, while others are currently up and running. You can look at a list at the bottom of this page.

What I Can Do For You

I make WordPress plugins and MyBB mods on request as a paid job. Price depends on the size of the project, and I’ll know it only after I have read a design document representing what you have in mind. The more the details, the less the time we spend on changing and fixing things later. Put all the data in a doc/PDF (with images, if needed and possible) and make everything as clear as possible: in this way I’ll be able to estimate how much time and money your project needs and you’ll get things done faster.

I can also install WordBB (my WordPress+MyBB plugin) on your website, configuring it as a comment system for your blog, as well as integrating user avatars and stats in your pages. You can also ask for any other kind of integration you have in mind.

You can get in touch through my Contacts page.

Some Stuff I’ve Worked On

vgmTorrents.net
vgmTorrents is a private BitTorrent tracker which collects all kinds of content related to video game music, such as soundtracks, rearrangements, remixes, fan made tribute albums, videos, documentaries and interviews.
The whole website is based on WordPress, with custom coded pages for torrent browsing and uploading, file details, shoutboxes and AJAX enabled controls.
Forums are MyBB-based and the template is perfectly integrated in the site, with the classic user welcome header bar and tracker stats.

This tracker is very particular in that it has a strong community feel. This is reflected by the structure of the site: the homepage is a blog with news from the VGM industry and P2P scene. We also have a Features section with user-written articles and, of course, the forums, where you can introduce yourself, meet other VGM fans, or request a particular release.

IDM Italia
IDMi is the first Italian message board dedicated to Intelligent Dance Music and any other kind of electronic music.
The board is fully connected to Last.fm, with currently played tracks displayed in postbits. The calendar can be used to post live music events: every time an user adds a new entry, a corresponding thread gets created in the Live Music Talk forum for the users to discuss it, and then everything is posted on the official Twitter account. Calendar events can be linked to Last.fm events, so that when IDMi users attend a concert on Last.fm, they get displayed in the thread for that gig.

IndieVault

Run by some folks I’ve met at several videogame developer events, IndieVault is simply the best Italian source for everything that’s indie gaming, with news posted every day, previews and indie game reviews.
For this project I worked on the forum’s template and theme design, as well as the phpbb3 to MyBB migration and some coding on the blog’s theme. IndieVault makes large use of WordBB, the WordPress+MyBB bridge I wrote.
As usual, user stats and avatar are displayed in the blog, and the message board is perfectly integrated with the rest of the pages. Indie-gaming related blog posts are sent to the forums, which act as the commenting system. Comments sent through MyBB are readable on WordPress, and BBCode and smilies are parsed.

Other currently active websites I’ve designed and/or worked on include this blog and Moonloop.vg, portfolio and devlog of the independent game development team I co-founded.
